The Wilkes County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2021-2022 Budget for Wilkes County on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 5:45 P.M., with the Board of Commissioners’ regular meeting to immediately follow, in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Wilkes County Office Building located at 110 North Street, Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Pursuant to authorization under the Policy for Attendance at Wilkes County Commissioners’ Meetings adopted by the Board of Commissioners on April 7, 2020, and amended August 4, 2020, November 5, 2020, and April 20, 2021, and Session Law 2020-3 adopted by the North Carolina General Assembly on May 4, 2020, both the public hearing and the meeting to follow will be live streamed and physical attendance by members of the public will be allowed. The public hearing and the meeting to follow will be open to the public.
