Demand for the $25 Summer Cards has been overwhelming. As of August 5th, Wilkes Health has given out all of our allotted cards for this week.  We have requested more gift cards, and will continue to offer them to anyone 18 and older, while supplies last, who gets their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and to the driver if person being vaccinated had someone bring them for their vaccine. $25 Summer Cards started on August 2nd Wilkes Health, with assistance from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
