[ARCHIVED] Wilkes County COVID-19 Count

As of 8:16 am on 02/01/2021

Wilkes Health will be updating case numbers and demographics Monday - Friday before 5 pm.

5,372 Confirmed Cases
91 Confirmed Deaths

35 currently hospitalized

493 Active Cases

In the last 14 days Wilkes County has had 788 cases per 100,000 persons reported locally.

Please note that Wilkes Health has recently removed the number of "recovered" cases to reduce confusion to the public.

Unfortunately, Wilkes Health is not able to provide a number of residents tested or negative test results. This is due to private practices, hospitals, long term care facilities, and some being tested outside the county. We understand that this frustrating, but only positive results and deaths are required by law to be reported to the health department. Please see below for demographic related information for 5,372 COVID-19 laboratory confirmed cases.

Information labeled unknown means Wilkes Health does not have access to that information.
