[ARCHIVED] Wilkes County COVID-19 Count

As of 8:06 pm on 03/01/2021

Wilkes Health will be updating case numbers and demographics Monday - Friday before 5 pm.

6,001 Confirmed Cases
103 Confirmed Deaths

23 currently hospitalized

215 Active Cases

In the last 14 days Wilkes County has had 278 cases per 100,000 persons reported locally.

Please note that Wilkes Health has recently removed the number of "recovered" cases to reduce confusion to the public.

Unfortunately, Wilkes Health is not able to provide a number of residents tested or negative test results. This is due to private practices, hospitals, long term care facilities, and some being tested outside the county. We understand that this frustrating, but only positive results and deaths are required by law to be reported to the health department. Please see below for demographic related information for 6,001 COVID-19 laboratory confirmed cases.

Information labeled unknown means Wilkes Health does not have access to that information.
