Is there a charge for Mobile Expanded School Health (MESH) visits? If a child without insurance or Medicaid gets sick at school could they be seen?
MESH does not charge for services. If a student has Medicaid or Health Choice then we can bill the insurance. The only fee we charge is for a sports physical which is $15. There is no co-pay or fee for sick visits. If we know who the doctor is then MESH will fax them a copy of the sick visit to the doctor for their records.
