Sending Inmates Money

You can deposit funds into an inmate's account by using the Jail ATM Kiosk located inside the public lobby of the jail. The Jail ATM Lobby Kiosk accepts CASH ONLY. These funds will be credited to the inmate's account immediately upon the completion of the transaction. Funds can be deposited into an inmate's account online. For more information on depositing money into an inmate's account please call 866-345-7884. There will be a service charge for all deposits into Inmate Trust Fund Accounts.

Commissary

Commissary items may be purchased for inmates online. For more information on purchasing commissary items for inmates online please call 800-546-6283. Only U.S. Postal Money Orders are accepted by mail to be deposited to the inmates account. Please address the envelope to:

Incoming Mail

Secure Mail services has been implemented in the Wilkes County Jail.  Secure Mail is safe and beneficial for social distancing.  To sign up to use the Secure Mail go to https://securemail.accesscorrections.com/.  Users simply select the inmate by booking number or name, type the message and send!  Photographs may also be sent through Secure Mail.  Inappropriate photos and messages will not be approved.  Family and friends enjoy the conveniences of no stamps, no driving to the post office, and faster message delivery to their loved ones.  U.S. mail can take up to five days, depending on location; Secure Mail messages arrive at the facility in real time for review and, in most cases, are approved and delivered to the inmate within 24 hours.
